The Singapore Tourism Board (STB) has partnered with Zomato for Zomaland Season 2, a multicity food and entertainment carnival which has been organized across ten cities in two formats – ‘Zomaland’ in Pune, Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Mumbai; and ‘Zomaland Picnics’ in Jaipur, Chandigarh, Kolkata, Chennai and Ahmedabad. The three-day Delhi edition of Zomaland which has already been kicked off today will see Liao Fan Hawker Chan, a proud chef behind the world first Hawker Michelin – starred Meal, a humble two-dollar street food dish made from soya sauce, chicken, rice and noodles. Apart from this, they will also get to savour signature dishes like Kaya toast, Char Kway Teow (Stir-fried Rice Noodles), Chicken Satay and Ice Milo by Nasi and Mee, a popular restaurant chain in India serving Singaporean dishes.

The attendees to Zomaland Delhi can also have a gala time by participating in fun and interactive foodie-themed games and taking photos against iconic visuals of attractions like Gardens By The Bay and Sentosa at “Singapore Experience Zone”. Singapore’s Merlion mascot ‘Merli’ is also a big hit among the crowd. The attendees also have an exciting chance to win attractive deals and discounts for Singapore attractions and cruise packages. Speaking about this association with Zomato, Lim Si Ting, Area Director, India & South Asia (Mumbai), Singapore Tourism Board said, “We are happy to partner with Zomato for the first time, and believe Zomaland brings us closer to the Indian audiences through a common love and passion for food. By highlighting authentic Singaporean cuisine and the varied dining options, we hope to tempt more foodies in India to visit Singapore for even more culinary delights. The STB has, in recent months rolled out a series of activities to attract the foodies, including a 3-part video series titled #CheatWeek in Singapore with popular Indian celebrity chef Saransh Goila, (who won Food Food Maha challenge) highlighting the culinary offers in Singapore. Lim Si Ting who is spearheading the project said, “The Singapore Experience Zone at Zomaland aims to showcase authentic Singapore food, and the leisure experiences in Singapore to audiences across India.
