Samsung has introduced the Galaxy S4, the world’s first ever handset to be powered by a mammoth 8 core processor. Unveiling its flagship smartphone during the second half of March this year at an event in New York, Samsung said that the Galaxy S4 is capable of recognizing hand and eye movements, and will compete with the Apple iPhone 5, HTC One, Nokia Lumia 920, Blackberry Z10 and other high-end phones that are also being launched this season. The phone is expected to be available in several markets across the world by the end of April.

Though there is no official word from Samsung about its launch in India or its likely pricing, grapewine has it that the device should find its way into local markets during the second quarter this year.
